Anastasiya Uzoreshitelnitsa holy - revered by Orthodox Christians as an assistant in childbirth. At the time of the Great persecution of Christians by the Roman emperor Deokletiana, she passed through many cities of Macedonia and Greece, helping persecuted every way possible. The Sirmium (present-day Serbia) she was captured, brutally tortured and put to death. Within a few decades, when the persecution ceased, Anastasiya Uzoreshitelnitsa has been recognized by the Holy One, and in Rome in her honor was erected a church that has been preserved until now.
