Then the Lord, by the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, made the water wine. Struck by the miracle, Simon, with all my heart and soul to believe in the Lord Jesus as the promised Messiah, and all left and followed him. Simon received the name "Zealots", ie. E. Zealot. The Holy Apostle Simon preached the doctrine of Christ in Judea, Egypt, Libya, Cyrene and Britain. In Abkhazia, he was martyred, crucified on the cross. Buried in the city Nikopsia near Sukhumi.
