Young man devoted himself to the service of God and people for which he was persecuted by the envious and the pagan authorities. It took a painful death, but did not deny the faith. Honorable head of St. Healer is currently in St. Panteleimon Monastery on Mount Athos, and the Great Martyr is revered as the patron of doctors and soldiers.
