Exclusive icon of the Resurrection
Jesus Christ is depicted in a halo in ordinary clothes. He had just risen from the grave, in His left hand, Christ is holding a huge Cross, the symbol of victory over death.The figure of Christ is located in the center of a cloud from which stylized rays are emanating. All this symbolizes the heavenly glory of the Savior, His divine dignity and power.. In addition, the background of stylized rocks is a symbol of the kingdom of heaven. On either side of the Saviour shows the angels, to the right - kneeling angel with a palm branch in his hand , this palm is a symbol of resurrection.On the bottom of the icon Roman soldiers are showed,they are in fear of seeing their faces stints. In the background, myrrh-bearing women, who found the tomb empty, are the first witnesses of the Resurrection of Christ. Victory over death and joy, which preaches angel bearers- Now after the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body.
