Icon of Our Lady of St Theodore
Miraculous Icon of the Mother of God Theodore is known from the XII century. Mother of God had created so many miracles through this way that later on the site of the chapel, which was this icon, Pskov prince built a monastery. Thousands of pilgrims from all over began coming to the miraculous image, asking for help and intercession of the Virgin Mary. Before the icon of Our Lady of the Theodore future bride asked Heavenly Lady to help them in family life and in the birth of children. The Orthodox Church celebrates the memory of the miraculous image of 27 March and 29 August.
