History of the Martyrs Cyprian and Justina truly amazing. Cyprian was a pagan priest, who was involved in the predictions, witchcraft and other demonic practices. Justin was a pious Christian girl. Once a young man asked Kyprianou Anlaid - son of wealthy pagans to the charmed Justin and forced her to agree to marry him.
Several times Cyprian attempted to tempt Justina diabolical force, but every time she remained faithful to the Lord and took care of its purity. Angry, Cyprian tried to send down on the family illness Justina, but the prayers of the holy women, all misfortunes spared her house party.
Cyprian was so impressed with the power of Christ that renounced his devil Affairs, he repented Anthimus local bishop, burned all his books of magic spells, and soon was baptized and became a Christian. Cyprian became so zealous to serve the Lord and observe the commandments of God, that soon became a priest and later a bishop and time.
When it started a great persecution of Christians by the Roman Emperor Diocletian, Cyprian, Justina, and other faithful of Christ, they were thrown in jail and subjected to brutal torture. Saints Cyprian and Justina were martyred. Seeing their faith and firmness, he declared himself a Christian warrior who guarded the prisoners, named Teoctist. He was martyred with them.
