As a man, Jesus Christ took the full human nature and became like the human race in everything except sin. He in His incarnation became a true and perfect man and, thus, reconciled the sinful man with God. Thus, before His miraculous image they pray for forgiveness and forgiveness of sins, for healing from illnesses, for guidance on the righteous path, for giving life-force in the struggle against difficult life circumstances.
