Archangel Michael - the right hand of the Lord, the highest of the Angels, is mentioned more than once in the Holy Scriptures. Lucifer, who was closest to God betrayed him and was able to seduce several Angels - then Archangel Michael, led by the faithful, threw Lucifer from heaven along with the traitors, who in the end became the Devil and his demons.
Archangel Michael is the patron of warriors, a symbol of justice and protection from forces of evil.
