The miracle-working image has a story based on the story from the book of Genesis, where in chapter 18, the meeting of three wanderers personifying the Lord's triune with Abraham was painted. The very composition of the image was originally formed on the basis of some of the stories given in the book of Genesis, that is, pilgrims, Abraham and his wife and various scenes of being. And therefore the shrine was given the second name "Hospitality of Abraham".
After a while, events from real life on the image began to acquire a completely new meaning - symbolic, while angels (pilgrims) began to be honored as a symbol of the Lord's Trinity, and their appearance before Abraham was called the phenomenon of the Holy Trinity.
This was the beginning for the formation of several main variations in the writing of the shrine: on one of them, all three angels are drawn equal among themselves, and on the other, they sing out the central angel with a large halo or with the help of the sign of the Lord.
The exact size: 20,5x26 cm.
