Ozeryanska icon of the Mother of God miraculously was attained in the desert called Ozeryanska, in the XVII century, during the Tatar raids on Ukraine. Soon on the site of the icon was built a wooden church of the Nativity of the Virgin, where the icon was placed, and later there arose monastic abode, became famous in the whole of the time since Ukrainu.S icon of the Virgin through its Ozeryanska way worked wonders to save the life of Kharkiv during epidemics of cholera in 1833, 1848 and 1871 and returning health to the sick.
