Wall calendar, "Fathers of Kiev - Pechersky"

Orthodox family wall calendar Fathers of Kiev-Pechersky tells about the life of individual laurels.

Each month there is a biography of the saint with an illustration and troparion.

The calendar includes a calendar grid (according to the new and old styles) with church saints, instructions for fasting and meals for each day, as well as days of special commemoration of the deceased.

The publication is designed for both children and adults.

The calendar is illustrated by Ksenia Savchenko, a Kiev artist and icon-painter. Larisa Khomenko composed the texts based on the Pechersky Paterik.

The Wall Calendar The Fathers of Kiev-Pecherskie reveals the inmost pages of history before us, again turning us to the sources of Russian monasticism, to the spiritual heart of Russia-the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. This is the holy place where the roads of thousands and thousands of pilgrims, who receive comfort, instruction, , blessing. More than 120 saints with imperishable relics rest today in the caves of the Lavra, always ready to hear a heartfelt prayer and give heavenly help to the petitioner.
