Dictionary of portable, figurative and symbolic uses of words in the Psalms

The dictionary presents the vocabulary, which is used in the Psalter in a figurative, figurative, symbolic sense. The necessity of such a dictionary is conditioned by the peculiarity of the Psalter's text: the psalms composing it, especially the prophetic, messianic content, depicting the historically authentic events of the life of King David, prophesy about the future events of the New Testament time. The living conditions of the Old Testament prophets often forced them not directly, but privately, with a hint, symbolically talking about the events of the Sacred History and the coming coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. All the interpretations of dictionary units are based on the existing exegetical Orthodox literature, are confirmed by numerous quotations from different interpreters.

The dictionary is addressed to students of religious educational institutions, philologists who study the spiritual culture of the Russian Middle Ages, as well as to all pious readers.
