The path of a warrior is one of the most glorious ways of life of a Christian. Military service is akin to the deed of monasticism, a feat of love for God and people. After all, "there is no more that love, as if a man lay down his life for his friends," sacrifice himself to protect the weaker. Therefore it is not by chance that among the Orthodox soldiers we see so many saints who defended the faith of Christ, the people and the Fatherland. And they all waged battles with evil, not only on the battlefields, but also in their souls. Their sword served the truth, and works glorified the Lord. One such holy warrior will be discussed. His name was Prince Dovmont.
