Kakonichesky native Orthodox cross, made of gold of 585 tests. The crucifixion is depicted against the background of a blossoming tree. This tradition is very ancient. It is based on the words of the Gospel that the Cross of Christ is the Tree of Life. The Holy Fathers often wrote that this tree gives us through the death of the Savior life in the Kingdom of God. This form of the cross was very widely spread in the 12th and 14th centuries. At the corners of the cross there are four rounded elevations, symbolizing the four evangelists who described the life, death and resurrection of the Savior.
