On the front side is the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Above the Crucifixion is the inscription of the King of Glory. Under the Crucifixion is the head of Adam. According to the Sacred Tradition, Adam's ashes were on Calvary, where the Crucifixion of Christ took place. According to the providence of God, the blood of Christ washed the skull of Adam and in his person cleansed mankind from sinful filth, thereby granting the possibility of salvation.
On the back - an icon of the Protection of the Holy Virgin.
The Feast of the Intercession of the Mother of God is a remembrance of the miracle that occurred in Vlachner Church on October 1 (14), 910: The Blessed Virgin appeared to the believers above the altar of the temple and spread out Her veil above them. On this day, the Mother of God revealed to the people that She is a Meddler for them before God.
