A small cross on the form is similar in shape to the Russian crosses by the relics of the 14th-15th centuries. The edges of the cross have smooth keeled ends, which resembles the images of the Angelic forces.

On the front side of the cross is a deepened eight-pointed cross of a double contour with a relief figure of a crucified Christ. Above the Savior's head are the letters IC XC. The bulging free field of the cross is covered with vegetative ornamentation, symbolizing the Resurrection and Eternal Life, revealed by the saving Sacrifice of the Lord.
The reverse side of the cross is similar to the inner side of the cache of the relics and has in its hollow the image of the eight-pointed Golgotha-
Th cross, as if embedded inside a tent. This emphasizes the special sanctity of the Cross of the Lord, which is reflected in the ancient traditions of storing the particles of the Honest Tree in stavrotekas and mosquitoes.
