On the front side of the cross is depicted the Crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ. On both sides of Christ the Holy Mother of God and holy prophet John the Baptist, the Forerunner of the Lord, the main defenders and prayer books for the people before God are coming.
On the reverse side in the center is depicted Saint Nicholas, who is prayed in all worldly circumstances and spiritual needs. Around - icons of the three saints, the creators of the Liturgy. To the left - Saint Basil the Great, below - Saint John Chrysostom, and to the right - Saint Gregory the Theologian. On the ear there are two seraphim, the fiery angels nearest those standing to God.
