On the front side of the cross is depicted the Crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

On the back, St. Nicholas of Myra, who is also called Nicholas the Wonderworker, is depicted. St. Nicholas is considered the patron saint of seafarers, merchants and children. However, he is treated with problems in commerce, studies, and also in search of a worthy spouse. It is believed that Nicholas is the earliest assistant, a source of spiritual support, an intercessor and a savior from injustice and vain death.
