On the front side of the cross is depicted the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ.

On the reverse, the most revered saint in the Orthodox Church is Nicholas the Wonderworker. He is praying, going on a trip, especially on the sea, asking for healing in various ailments, assistance in trading matters, studying and searching for a worthy spouse.
