If you add up the first letters of the Greek words "Jesus Christ is the Son of God the Saviour" the word that means "fish". That's why the early Christians did the image of the fish as a secret sign of the Lord and began to portray it on the seals, lamps, sarcophags and vessels. The most of the Apostles were fishermen so there was an analogy between fishing and the treatment of people to the new faith. Jesus called the apostles "fishmen of people".
One of the miracles of the Lord was the saturation of five thousand people with five loaves and two fishes.
