Martyr Andrew Stratilat was a military commander in the Roman army during the reign of Emperor Maximilian. For his bravery, invincibility and justice was a holy love in the Roman armies. However, it soon became clear that he - Christian and pagan power will hate it. Envious denounced the governor and St. Andrew were executed along with those of his soldiers, who did not renounce faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Later instances of miraculous healings have been recorded at the point of death.
